Here is an article from Andrew Sorkin that we usually do not expect to see in the most liberal newspaper in the Country, The New York Times:

Why Wall St. Is Deserting Obama

But I am not surprised because there is always a first. Even NYT will one day wakes up to the fact that Obama is the worst president in the recent US history. Look at all the destruction he has made to the US economy and the lives of so many working families of this once great nation since he started working at the White House. And the scary thing is that it is not over yet!

The only problem I have with the NYT is that they are 21 months too late.

What will Netanyahu get from White House meetings with Abbas? August 30, 2010

Benjamin Netanyahu, arguably the most  hawkish prime minister of Israeli from right-wing Likud Party, will be in talk with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the White House sponsored by Obama. Egypt president Hosni Mubarak and self-appointed King Abdullah of Jordan.

To Israelis, the talk started on a wrong footing because it was 3Muslims against  1 Jew. I don’t think it is fair, do you?

Every American president since Nixon has tried and some even won a Nobel peace prize for there short-lived efforts.

Will the outcome be different this time with Obama’s constant  bashing Israel and unrelenting appeasing to the Muslims  in the world?

We’ll find out soon but judging from pre-talk announcements from both sides, the road to a comprehensive peace agreement is still as illusive as ever.

Well, everyone know this and you certainly don’t need me to remind you of these obvious obstacles.

But, the hidden questions to me when no Arab is present are:

What will Netanyahu get in return after public humiliation from Obama?

Is it:

1. An outline of effective steps short 0f military intervention by the United States to stop Iran’s development of nuclear weapons? The UN sanctions over the past few years have not worked and will not stop Iran from making significant progress in this area. The latest estimate by the US intelligent community has put that time frame at one year.

2. More offensive and defensive weapons to Israel from the United States?

3. A green light from the US for Israel to destroying Iran’s nuclear targets. Netanyahu is here to brief Pentagon and CIA of his action plans,

4. A commitment from the US of air and intelligent supports when Israel attack Iran in a year or earlier,

5. An open condemnation at the UN by Egypt and Jordan of Iran’s nuclear weapon program, and

6. A behind-the-closed-door ultimatum to Iran’s president Ahmadinejad carried by Egypt president and King of Jordan of the pending attack from Israel.

Of course, all these speculations could be nonsense. Obama has to do it because big donors  from the Jewish community told Obama so.

Stay tuned. We’ll know in a year or so.

The US does not have enough money for Krugman to spend August 30, 2010

In recent weeks, Paul Krugman has begun attacking Bernanke, Obama and some members of the Congress for not spending enough.

Japan had ten rounds of massive government spending from 1991 to 2000 in order to revive its staggering economy. Last I checked, Japan’s economy is still limping around and Japan’s unemployment rate has risen from 2% in 1990 to 5.2% now, slightly lower than 5.6% reached just a year ago.

Recession is market’s way to cure its sickness. Let the market takes care of itself , Paul, and stop that spending all-I-can-borrow-from-Chinese and Japanese nonsense.

By the way, have you proposed any magic formula to reduce that mounting national debts yet? Other than raising the taxes from the rich and not-so-rich folks, that is.

Mr. Bernanke, was that allyou can do? August 30, 2010

On Friday in Jackson Hole, Bernanke outline three steps to aid the ailing US economy:

1. Buying mortgage securities and treasury bills to lower the interest rates on them.

How low is low? Until job market improves, no one wants to pile on more debt no matter what the rate is.

2. Timely disclosure of Fed’s policy meetings.

Are you kidding, Bernanke? This is your second weapon to revive the economy? How is this going to revive the economy? We know your message is biased like the Chinese saying:

“报喜不报忧”

“bao4 xi3 bu1 bao4 you1”

“Reporting good news but hide the bad.”

3. Reducing interest rate to zero that Fed pays banks for parking their money at the Fed.

The current rate paid to banks is 0.25%. Will bank withdraw that money and start lending?

The banks may withdraw the money at the Fed but they may not be able to lend because the business is not borrowing and consumer can not borrow.

The business will not borrow because they do not know what kind of tax they have to pay in the future and they do not know how the ehalth care reform will impact their business.

The consumer will not lend because they have already maxed out. We are saving and paying off credit card debts. Do not forget that the consumer owes more money on student loans than credit card debts.

let’s have a show of hands who is thinking about borrowing money from your local banks? I guess not.

Mr. Bernanke, if you have other tricks up your sleeve, please let us in on it. Thanks. If you don’t, please do not lie to us.

Many of my customers are short on money or  out of jobs.  A long time customer of our restaurant came yesterday and bought some food from us. He dated his check 8/31/2010, two days from yesterday, and said that he’ll come and pay the amount in cash when he gets his pay at the end of the month. This was the second time doing this in two months.

People are suffering out there, Mr. Bernanke. They need help fast.

In the chips sector, new regulations and higher taxes adapted by Obama administration with the help of Reid and Pelosi have added $1 billion to the construction cost of a new chip plant in the United States.

This is not my estimate. It was reported by Intel CEO Paul Otellini on Monday evening at Technology Policy Institute’s Aspen Forum.

http://news.cnet.com/8301-13578_3-20014563-38.html

As a result, new inventions will be developed in China or India. New jobs will be created in China and India. Wealth transfer from the United States to the rest of the world will continue and may even pick up the pace. Let’s not forget that we  pay foreign countries $280 to $300 billion every year for the privileged of using their crude oil and petroleum products. The deepwater drilling ban issued by Obama administration despite court injunctions, will exacerbate the situation.

Obama doesn’t like the fact that United States is the strongest country in the world and his policy and Democrats’ action has already pulled the U.S. down from within.

The downhill of the United States continues.

Now, if Obama is really smart, he’ll have the tea/wine summit at Ground Zero and have a friendly AP reporter take a few photos from far away for evening prime time news.

He’ll then have his Press Secretary send  our a statement saying that the White House will appoint a “Blue Ribbon” inter-Faith  panel and Obama will go by whatever the panel recommends.

The controversy will then be off the prime time news for at least 6 months.

In the mean time, a wealth Jewish buyer with connection to Bloomberg will pay $20 million to the developer for the property. Sharif El-Gamal will be happy because he walks away with a nice $15 million profit.

NY Governor Peterson will then offer a piece of state property 10 or 8 blocks away from Ground Zero not in the line of sight from the Twin Towers free of charge or a 70-year and $1/yr lease to Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and Daisy Kahn.

Obama will then help Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and Daisy Kahn raise the $100 million needed for the mosque. The agreement between Imam Rauf and Peterson is that  the new and bigger Cordoba House can be bigger and taller and it doesn’t have to be called a community center either.

Sharif El-Gamal is happy because of the $15 million profit.

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is happy because he got mosque built not too far from the hollow ground. He also didn’t have to call it a community center and the mosque will not be open to the Jews or Christians.

Daisy Kahn is happy because she didn’t back down from the Muslim haters.

Bloomberg is happy because his liberal reputation was upheld and he comes out stronger than ever.

Peterson is happy because he is looked upon as a effective negtiator.

The families of the 9-11 victims  are happy because the mosque is not pretty far away from the twin tower site.

The tax payers get the bill but the amount of the money involved is so small that the tax payers have no reason to complaint any more.

The American Muslims are now friends of Jews and Christians and everyone live in a big happy family called the New York city.

Taxi drivers from Egypt or Pakistan are happy because they no longer have to be afraid of Christian terrorists slashing Muslim drivers’ throats.

Finally, Obama is happy because Muslims like him and the conservative have no reason to hate him on this issue. He comes out as the Great Healer and somewhere in the Middle East, Muslims may erect a Obama sculpture to commenmorate this once-in-a-life time event. The wise Brother Obama may  even be included in Muslims’ text book and young Muslim school children will forever respect Brother Obama for his courage, wisdom and passion for world peace.

The 21th century crusade is no longer a threat and thew Jihad is also avoided. Muslims, Jews and Christians will live .happily after.

One thousand years from now, Muslim kids all over the world will still talk about Brother Obama.

Well, by that time, the crude oil will only be sold to countries friendly to Muslims because they will be the only countries (other than Canada) still producing oil anyway. The United States may be conquered by Muslims anyway, economically if not by force. And most of the citizens of the United States will be converted to Muslims if they want their daily rations of gasoline.

Bloomberg vs Obama August 25, 2010

Bloomberg reaffirmed his stand of supporting the building of Ground Zero Mosque at an iftar dinner attended by the wife of Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, Daisy Khan, and the Ground Zero Mosque developer Sharif el-Gamal.

At least Bloomburg stood on his ground.

Here was Obama at a White House ifter dinner celebrating of Ramadan with members of many prominent Muslim Brotherhood front organizations:

‘As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country.’ ‘That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances. This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable.’

Sounded righteous and noble enough.

But was Obama pandering to Muslims in the United States or was his message aimed at Muslims in the Middle East?

Or was it the appease Obama showing his true Muslim color and submission to shariah law?

But wait.

Here was the same Obama the next day after his Muslim pride and pandering to Muslims were critized:

“I was not commenting and I will not comment on the wisdom of making the decision to put a mosque there.” “I was commenting very specifically on the right people have that dates back to our founding. That’s what our country is about.”

Weak knees, Obama? Bending of his spine to the strong wind blowing from other direction? trying to please both sides of the debate?

Now you put your foot in your mouth and raise the issue to “national” level. You have no one else but yourself to blame.

Do you think that the Muslims in the Middle East will be mad at him for his comment on Muslim’s wisdom?

But wait for another moment.

Didn’t White House Press Secretary Gibbs said on August 3rd that Obama would not get involved in the Ground Zero Mosque mess because it was “a local matter.”

He said that “This is rightly a matter for New York City and the local community to decide.”

Did Obama lied to the American people?

Did Hussein Obama the cheater offered the souls of those people who died on 9-11 on a silver platter to the Muslims during the iftar dinner at the White House?

You decide.

At least Bloomberg has back bone to stand on his ground.

Hussein Obama the appeaser wanted Muslims to take him in as a Muslim brother at the ifter dinner but questioned Muslims’ wisdom the next day.

Obama should call Bloomberg and learn a lesson or two from the New York Mayor.

What a stupid guy Obama is!

If Obama is smart, he’ll keep his mouth shot and invite people opposing to the ground zero mosque and Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, Daisy Khan, and the Ground Zero Mosque developer Sharif el-Gamal for a beer summit at the hollow ground of the Ground Zero .

Well, I take it back, make it a tea-for-Muslims and wine-for-the-others summit with some goat cheese from Middle East and some excellent white wine from the great state of New York.

Everyone will be happy and both sides will think that Obama is rooting for them. Muslims will be happy. 9-11 survivals will be happy. Obama will take the credit. Obama will come out smells like roses.

Instead, he opened his big mouth; not once, but twice.

Now the Muslims are mad at him. The 9-11 survivals are mad at him. Obama is kind like

“过街的老鼠, 大家喊打”

“guo4 jie1 de4 lao3 shu3, da4 jia1 hn3 da3”

Everyone yells “kill that mouse on the street”

After Obama is kicked out of the White House, he can travel to Middle East at the expenses of American tax payers to help Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf raise the $100 million needed to build the Cordoba House.

Cordoba House or Park 51? August 25, 2010

Why did Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf changed the name of Ground Zero Mosque from “Cordoba  House” to “Park 51?”

Hmm, I wonder? Was it because it has something to do with the meaning of Cordoba in the minds of billion Muslims in the world?

Yes, it does. It turned out that the city of Cordoba in Southern Spain was captured in 711 by Muslim army and subsequently became the capital of the region under the control of Caliphate al-Andalus. It symbolizes the dominance of Islam over this region for more than 300 years.

And what did Muslim did when they took over the city of Cordoba? They knocked down a church and built a mosque; the so-called “The Great Mosque of Cordoba” over the site of the church.

Do you see the similarity here?

Muslims knocked down the twin towers and build a mosque 2 blocks away?

Ugly American Foreign Policy on Display in Hanoi August 25, 2010

Saigon was captured by North Vietnamese army on April 30, 1975 and the United States was soundly defeated. At the end of the Vietnam War, 58,159 American soldiers lost their lives,  1,719 soldiers were declared missing; and a whopping 303,635 were wounded.

Now that Hillary with the approval of Obama wants to offer Vietnam nuclear fuel and advanced American nuclear technology. What’s alarming is that the deal could lead to allowing Hanoi enriching uranium in Vietnam.

All this effort because of America wants to block China’s expansion because United States has nearly lost the economic war against China.

This is the type of American foreign policy on full display.

This is American foreign policy. This is the type of game America plays.

To hell with Iran because Iran is not a friend of America.

Hmm, what will Iranians have to say about this?

Have you heard of any objections from the United States when Pakistan and India were developing their nuclear weapons?

Of course not, Pakistan and India were friends of the United States.

Where did Israel get its nuclear technology and weapons from? It came from the United States.

Haven’t I said “三十年河东, 三十年河西?”

The lost of Saigon was 35 years ago.

Now you know what I meant.
