Trump, the so-called THE greatest negotiator ever, flexed his negotiation muscles on the dictator of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, over a period of more than a year. It went down the history of the mankind more or less like this:

Trump; This guy is a bad dude. But, I would speak to him, I would have no problem speaking to him.

Kim: See my missiles fly.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Trump: This guy is a bad dude, and don’t underestimate him.

Kim: Check out my missiles.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Trump: Kim Jong Un is a little rocket man.

Kim: Trump is a dotard.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Trump: my nuclear bottom is bigger than yours.

.
Kim: Watch my nuclear test goes off.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Trump: “North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.”

Kim: “I will surely and definitely tame the mentally deranged US dotard with fire.” Trump didn’t know what dotard was. His guys Googled and they laughed.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Trump: I am not a dotard and to provide that I’m willing to talk to Kim.

Kim: Let’s meet on 6/12 for tea.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Trump: Kim was dragging his feet. Kim was no good and I didn’t want to talk to him anymore. He couldn’t be trusted. Let’s just calledl that damn meeting off.

Kim: I’m very serious, dotard. See, I’ve completely dismantled our nuclear testing site. No one couldn’t get in now.

Source: NPR

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Trump: I am very sorry, Jong Un. Please forgive me. It’s my bad but it’s Kelly and Tillerson’s fault. Please be patient. I’ll make it happen.

Kim: I’m not paying for my trip.

Source: Stuff.co.nz

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Trump: Kim’s country does love him and he’s got a great personality. He’s a funny guy, he’s very smart, he’s a great negotiator. He loves his people, not that I’m surprised by that. I am going to stop the joint military exercise with S. Korea and Japan.

Kim: That’s about right. Trump, you are forgiven and you are a good dotard. I will check in with my boss in Beijing later and get back to you. You know that I’ve made too many nuclear bombs and missiles.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Lately, Kim has been reported to have laughed his socks (actually his a%&) off.

Moon and Abe were stunned.

Trump remained to be a dotard.

American navy got a few days off.

Korean and Japanese navies got lost in the Pacific Oceanlooking for American aircraft carriers.

American tax payers saved a few bucks.

The dotard Trump waked up and realized that he had been out smarted by the rocket man.

Kim promptly executed

by firing squad

a s

enior military officer who said that “they no longer needed to suffer and tighten our belts to make rockets and nuclear weapons.”

Trump won’t talk to the rocket man and no one in the White House is allowed to mention Jong Un’s name or Jong Un’s nickname in front of Trump anymore.

Anthony Bourdain

Burger? April 27, 2018

spinach and artichoke dip with lots of cheese, endive and garlic bread。good comnination。

Onion rings are our favorite。spicy honey mustard dip is.better。

Momosan Ramen, New York April 21, 2018

We were scheduled to head back to China and Taipei in two days after a month-long stay in New York. I suggested that we have some good quality ramen before flying out of JFK to PVG. My daughter, who, along with her husband, has been living in NYC for 7 or 8 years, recommened Momosan in Manhattan.

It was a good choice albeit a little rushed because the restaurant was extremely busy and our 8-month old granddaughter was with us too.

Momosan is one of the highly rated ramen restaurants in New York and is operated by the resident Japanese Iron Chef (料理の鉄人) Morimoto. We had tried his other restaurant a few years back but this time we got to try his ramen.

Momo San (Momo 先生) is the third chef from the left.

Source: Wikipedia photo of Iron Chef

When we got there around 7:30 on Wednesday night, the small (~50 seats) restaurant was packed with many guests waiting to get a seat. We had to wait for about 20 minutes before being seated at a small 6 top just behind the hostess.

We ordered several appetizers, four ramens and a bottle of mid -priced sake.

  • Pickled napa cabbage

Very spicy and wasabi infused Korean style pickled cabbages.

  • Deep fried pig ears.

  • Mimiga: sticky rice with seaweed wraps

  • Tsukemen: look good. Noodle and broth were separated. You can dip the noodles in the broth or you can combine the two and eat it together. I am not sure why Momosan served this dish seoarately.

  • Gyukotsu: Pork ribs ramen. A little over-rated. Rich broth. Rib was over cooked.

Only 20 orders are available per day. We took the last two.

    • Tonkotsu: This was
      Momosan’s signature ramen

: richly flavored and carefully prepared. Actually this was my favorite. Complex flavor and good combination of condiments.

CAU stands for Carne Argentina Unica.

There were many Argentian restaurants in Amsterdam. To us, CAU looked a little formal and nice. We also like the fact that the big steakhouse had several tables on the sidewalk and was 2 minutes away from Rho Hotel where we have stayed for 3 nights in Amsterdan.

The outside tables had heaters installed overhead and that was one of the reasons we chose to eat there. Prices were surprisingly affordable too.

Open kitchen.

We had Passo del Sud.

I knew that our waitress gave us more wine than half a bottle.

CAU menu on the outside for tourists to compare.

Check out her Facebook pages before our meal.

Happy together.

Empanadas: spinach and ricotta and shrimp chicarron: a little spicy.

Mushroom risotto

Grilled corns

Argentina beef stew.

By the time we finished our meal, it was time to clean up and called it for the day.

And for us? Time to go to bed.

May be we should walk a couple of thousand steps first.

I searched Yelp for recommendations on Italian food because we already had pancakes, waffle smothered with nutella, tapas, churros, fries with mayo, chinese, Argentinian, omlette sandwich, panini, sushi, fried chickens, Mediterranean salad, Paella, cheese and olives, escargot and curry prawns.

We decided on Italia Oggi on the outskirts of the red light district. It was a little out of the way but this might be a plus for us because fewer tourists would come so far for a late night meal.

We were pleasantly surprised.

Specials for the day.

The narrow dining room was very cozy with soft lighting, wooden floor and pictures of Sophia Loren on the wall. The open kitchen was in the back.

She was our beautiful waitress.

We had tomato soup, greek salad, pasta made on a parmigiana cheese wheel, seafood rissotto and a slice of tiramisu for dessert. For drinks, we ordered a bottle of Italian red table wine: Montepulciano D’Abruzzo. The wine was very affordable and matched well with rich pasta, tasty seafood and all the cheese we had in our pasta.

Simple yet wonderful soup.

He was making another pasta parmigiana for a guess at another table.

Tax was 6% on food and 15% on alcohol. That’s how tourists support the economy of Amstetdam.

Time to pay and go back to our hotel. Our young and beautiful waitress didn’t speak fluent english but we could communicate to get what we wanted.

We took our time enjoyed the wine with pasta and dessert. The tomato soup was made with a clear but hearty base. Salad was fresh with many roasted walnuts and rucola cheese. The pasta parmigiana was simply made but rich. The seafood rissotto had generous amount of seafood and the rissotto was filled with sensational seafood sauce.

By the time tiramisu came, we were already too full to finish it all.

Italia Oggi was filled with guests when we arrived at 8:30 pm and we had to settle for a table near the door. After us, a few more guests came. By the time when we left Oggi, only one customer was still working on his meal.

Cova

check out 機器
