Epcot Center’s fireworks is a crowd-pleaser. It starts every night at 9 pm everyday when Epcot Center opens to the public.  We went to Orlando for our anniversary and stayed near Downtwon Disney for five days. We visited the Epcot Center on the third day to fulfill a wish twenty some years ago of ours that one day we would come back to Epcot Center again.

We came here about 25 years ago when kids were still in grad school. Back then, we lived in Carrollton, Texas about 25 miles northwest of Dallas. We took our used car and drove almost 20 hours to here. We took kids to the rides and visited Epcot Center to sample foods from different countries.

This time, we came here without kids so that we could take some time off from our busy workload. We skipped the rides but picked the displays and shows that interested us. Of course, we had to sample different foods at various restaurants.

Right before we left Orlando, we stayed at the Epcot Center until 9 PM to see how good its fireworks was.

Epcot’s fireworks started shortly after 9 PM in the middle of the huge lake in the middle of the center and last for about 12 minutes. There were no interruptions, no hiccups and no moment of silence. The Epcot fireworks were especially unique because it combined music, smell of gun powder and display of laser lights to give every visitor a wonderful memory no one could easily forget.

Take a look for yourself:
