You know of the Bund. You know of the Lujiazui. Of course, these are the landmarks of Shanghai.

But, have you heard of Rockbund? If you haven’t, remember this name because it will be the new landmark of Shanghai soon. It is called 洛克·外滩源 in Chinese.

It isn’t big. It is still being renovated. It is seclusive and it isn’t in an area frequented by tourists because not very many people heard of it. We came over here because we went to The Peninsula for afternoon tea. The Rockbund is behind the Peninsula hotel and the British Consular on the north side of the Bund.

This will be the place where really rich people come to enjoy their night out.
