We happened to walk in this place expecting to have a late dinner on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was busy and there were three hostesses at the door to greet guests.

Must be a busy night. But on a Tuesday?

The restaurant looked new and classic. Most patrons were young and well dressed.

Hmm…, a good start, I thought.

Well, it turned out that they weren’t open for business yet. Tonight’s for family members and owners’ guests.

Since we already walked in, there was no point to chase us out of the door. They let us sit at the bar instead. However we were told that we can order from the full menu.

Great! I liked that.

We had a couple of beers, two appetizers,  an entress and a dessert:

Beef tartar

Beef marrow. You can't tell what it is from the look.

Now you see what it is. Very rich. Need a glass of cabernet sauvignon to go with it.

Confit Shoat.

This dish came to our table with a cold center. We returned it back to the kitchen. They gave us a 4 bread basket, another order and ended up took it out of our check. Nice gesture. I gave the bartender a fat tip.

On the house for us.

This was well cooked but I won't order it next time. It is difficult dish to make and one that's hard to please the customers.

Well worth the wait in the end. Great finish. Top notch. Apparently all made on site.

Well, we haven’t been back yet. Give it a couple of months to work out the kinks. I like to see what they do with  the shoat.

Btw, the bar stools weren’t very comfortable to sit on.
